Book Review Of  "Karakoram Ka Taj Mahal"

Mountains and valleys, who doesn't admire them right? Nimra Ahmed's novel 'Karakorum ka taj mahal' is something that'll take you along on a whole different journey of mountains. It is a love story, but not the ones you've listened and watched in the movies, It is something that is very unusual, a love story of two mountain climbers...

Main Theme Of The Book:

Story of two mountain climbers, Ufaq Arsalan, a traveler who climbs world's most exciting mountains, a carefree Turk guy (Yes Turk guy,But not like Cihan From jkp),because Nimra Ahmed have this quality of making every Novel's character different from one another yet with its's own special characteristics. That's what I adore about her novels so freaking much.
Story of Parishay and Ufaq arsalan, who gets along with each other on a trip to northern areas of Pakistan,Parishay jahanzaib, who is a doctor and is engaged to his aunt's son ' Saif ', but she doesn't feel that she is destined to be his...on the other hand Ufaq arsalan, who had his own difficulties in his life, motivated parishay to get back to her climbing journey along with him...soon circumstances makes both of them to climb on 'Rakaposhi', mountain in Pakistan which is unclimbed by any climber by any climber in the world. Ufaq wants to break the records, and the journey goes along with exciting turns and twists...

Impactful Characters Of Story:

Like every Nimra Ahmed's book, the characters have this huge impact that you really cannot get it off from your head, every character of the book, even the supportive and background characters were so strong, which gives the whole life and colors to the book.

Best To Read In This Quarantine:

This whole book will give you an essence of a trip, which is really needed in these quarantine, when we are not allowed to go outside, this book will give you a fresh feel, all the epicly written scenes of mountains, the background of sawaat and kalaam, muree, hills of Margala, it has this fantasy effect which I totally loooved!......

What I Learned From This Book:

There are a quite few things that I learned while reading this book,

  • Chasing your dreams is as necessary for you as breathing, It comes before everything.
  • If you really love someone, you'll always make them your priority, no matter what the situation is, no matter what the whole worlds says, you'll be by their side.
  • Those who are destined to be together, will be together even if it has a distance of 7 seas.
  • Every person needs one incident, to know who they really are.
  • Sometimes leaving everything in life, leads to everything in life.
  • Beautiful views comes after the hardest climbs.
