Book Review Of "The Fault In Our Stars"

Author: John Green

The Fault In Our Stars, I've heard about this book from many people...As it is one of the most famous,Best seller novels...so I decided to give it a try...But I think On this book...My view is slightly different to what people usually say...

Disclaimer: This is only my point of view, If you have any point, leave it in the comment section below,

In my Opinion this book Is Purely 'Over Rated'...like there is nothing out of the box to go crazy for.Okay I like some parts of it... but I would still call it an average book...

Main Theme:

The story revolves around Two characters ,Hazel Grace Lancaster and Augustus waters...Hazel who is sixteen and has been diagnosed with a thyroid cancer met Augustus at a Cancer kids support group...Augustus who has osteosarcoma,(A type Of cancer which occurs in bones) soon get closer to Hazel.Hazel Tells Augustus that she loves to read books, and there is this book 'An Imperial Affliction' which is unfinished...she is curious to know the end of the story and for that it is her wish to meet the author of the book. Augustus makes a plan for a trip to Amsterdam, to make her wish become true...

Why I Don't Much Like 'The Fault In Our Stars'?

The main thing I don't like about 'The fault in our stars'. that there were no time for the characters to develop their chemistry.. Like in some page they were telling each other their names and then, all of a sudden, out of no where, they are going to Amsterdam...There was no time to know each other from tip to toe, I don't know why but it just didn't click to me, How can someone fall deeply and madly and crazily in love with someone, in just freaking 2 or 3 days...Okay Some parts were good...That magical understanding that suddenly happened was not that bad...Specially that 'Okay Okay', but apart from that...nooo...I know the ones who meant to be together will get to know each other in just a glimpse and so on...I know,,, but atleast a reader should know what is happening, like hello excuse me, 'We' are reading this book,'We' should understand what is happening!' the whole point of 'book', like they are going to ask the author about the unfinished book of his,who does that. 1..then the main point, they both are suffering from the same pain, thus they knows how it felt to be a cancer patient, but in those 313 pages, there were nothing that i can considered as 'Sharing Their Pains together' The element of relatibility was a big lack in 'The fault in our stars.'

Would I Recommend This Book?

I am no one to rate a book, but if I would rate it, it would be 6/10...I wouldn't much recommend it.. but if you want to experience what I wrote above, you should give it a try, and then let me know your views too!...
Still There were some lines that were good, I'm not saying it is not good, I'm saying it is not as good as people say...
